George Bernard Shaw once said, “There is no sincerer love than the love of food”. Marketing and Community Manger, Sarah Han from Banksmeadow’s Brasserie Bread, takes these words to heart! Her days revolve around writing about food, cramming her diary with dinners and lunches, photographing delicious breads & pastries and ensuring she never goes hungry in the meantime! Sarah gave Posse the run-down on the top eateries in her street!
One of Sarah’s favourite breakfast spots is Reuben Hills, where she likes to down a salted caramel milkshake with her Reuben (wagyu brisket, coleslaw and manchego cheese on Brasserie Bread’s New York Rye). She recommends you order some first-rate coffee to wash it all down. If, like Sarah, you’re less of a morning person and more of a night owl, head to Stitch for fantastic cocktails and spiced curly fries. They’ve also got gourmet hot dogs and Pat & Stick’s ice cream sandwiches, which is a-okay by her!
Gelato Messina is by far Sarah’s favourite dessert bar in Sydney. Why? The gelato is outstanding and the unique specials board always keeps her coming back. She’s a huge fan of their peanut butter flavours and amazing gelato desserts in the Messina Lab.
