 Newcastle Lord Mayor Jeff McCloy loves his city. Born and bred in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, Jeff has seen many changes and believes the city’s best days are ahead. As Lord Mayor, Jeff is working hard to bring prosperity to the city and make his beloved Newcastle an even better place to live, work and play. The city was listed among the top ten cities in Lonely Planet’s ‘Best in Travel 2011’ guide and boasts a rich history, quirky culture and some amazing scenery including world class beaches, countryside, bushland and cityscape. Jeff’ shared his ‘best-of’ guide to Newcastle via Posse.
