Indie Band, The Khanz & their Favourite Pit Stops

September 1, 2013 at 9:44 pm

The Khanz

The Khanz is a young band is on the cusp of something, although nobody’s sure exactly what, least of all the band themselves. Big believers in breaking down musical boundaries, The Khanz are all about having fun and bringing people together- something they feel is lost in the competitive side of things. ’Roll Around’ is the first release from the band this year and the first single from the band’s debut album, which is currently in production and already topping the Indie Charts on Holding Pattern. The release continues the band’s track record of songs that do not flinch from taking aim at the more tangled issues that young people face, yet doing so in a spirit of exuberance and joy at being alive. These guys love to be on the road- and today they share their regular pit stops via Posse :

Great style, cheap food and a chilled outside area that feels quite ‘homey’. It has a unique feeling and is great for a couple of chilled beers with mates.

Small Mexican Bar in Surry Hills. Great energy, charming bartenders and a rowdy environment that will have you doing more than a few tequila shots.

What is a list of Bars and Pubs without including a classic Irish Pub? Pints, Karaoke, a jukebox and a couple of games of Buck Hunter to waste away a great night in Newtown.

A new 70s inspired cocktail bar in York st. It’s an entertaining mix of Kraft beers, homemade pies, live music and some old school video games. You can’t help but get your ‘retro’ on.
