Councillor Darcy Byrne is well known as an articulate and passionate advocate for change and renewal in his local area. Growing up in Balmain, he has been a life-long resident of Leichhardt Municipality which includes the suburbs of Leichhardt, Balmain, Rozelle, Lilyfield, Annandale and Birchgrove. In 2008 he was elected to Leichhardt Council as a Councillor and today continues to fight for a more fun, affordable and fairer Sydney. When he’s not managing the Glebe Youth Service or pushing for positive change, he can be found at the following six great locations within the Leichhardt Municipality, as shared via Posse:

Great cocktails and a pioneer in the Inner West’s growing small bar scene.
No one does family friendly, comfort cuisine like the Irish.
It’s an icon, it’s been saved as a music venue and now everyone should check out a gig there and show their support.
