Mondays are often riddled with Mondayits, however last Monday Posse were lucky enough to spend the afternoon at Famous Magazine HQ! Chilling in the office (that we fell in love with might we add), we were surrounded by a buzz of the latest on fashion, celebs and entertainment was an absolute treat!
Within the buzzing office we met, Jody, Natasha, Justine and Louise. In the limelight, and following the top celebs we interviewed the ladies at Famous to see what their favourite places are and where they spend their leisure time!
Last week, Posse met up with one of the trendiest men around town, Concrete Playground’s Business Director; Johnny Buchan. For those who don’t know, Concrete Playground is a phenomenal online guide for cultural events, news and places. Creative and playful, Concrete Playground’s forward thinking contributors are trusted sources for what’s going on around Sydney, Melbourne, Brisvegas and Auckland!
We were lucky enough to have five minutes of Johnny’s time to absorb as much info as possible about a handful of the best establishments around Surry Hills.

In their awesome garage style warehouse we met Nicola, Kevin, Michael, Albert, Toby and Simon. We asked the crew where they hang out, and what local hideouts they can recommend to Posse.
Here’s what they came up with!
On Friday August 24, Posse were lucky enough to attend the Cotton On runway show at Mercedes Benz Sydney Fashion Week. The night was a showcase of their new Spring/Summer collection for 2012/13 featuring Cotton On’s take on this season’s essentials.
Didier Cohen opened the show in an open denim shirt and denim shorts. There were many more denim on denim looks to follow, with plenty of light denim and chambray; a fresh look for Summer.
After the denim came the pastel. Beautiful feminine pastel colours, often teamed with floral prints. To contrast, tough look metallics and edgy monochrome prints came down the runway next.
Lastly, the prominent feature on the runway was popping neon. Whether it was in the shoes, bags, shirts, jackets or pants, neon colours touched many outfits on the runway.
